ASSEMBLYMAN SCHMITT ANNOUNCES 2019 “COFFEE WITH COLIN” TOWN HALL SERIES THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT
Washingtonville, NY -- (10/20/19) Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I-New Windsor) recently announced his 2019 Coffee with Colin town hall series at different small businesses throughout the 99th Assembly District.
Assemblyman Schmitt will host an event in each town in his district. The goal is to reach constituents that may not be able to get to the Assembly district office during normal business hours. This series gives constituents from all over the district the opportunity to sit down directly with Assemblyman Schmitt and his staff to discuss legislative topics or seek constituent service assistance.
The Coffee with Colin schedule is as follows:
Saturday, October 26th: 8-9am - Elsie’s Luncheonette, 128 W Main St, Goshen, NY 10924
10-11am - Bagel Girls Cafe, 69 Brookside Ave, Chester, NY 10918
Sunday, October 27th: 10-11am - It’s Coffee, 51 S Liberty Dr. Stony Point, NY 10980

Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt stated, “As your State Assemblyman my goal is to be as accessible as possible to all in our community. I realize that not everyone can make normal office hours so I am hosting my 2019 “Coffee with Colin” town hall series on evenings and weekends in each of the ten towns I represent. I encourage all residents to stop by one of our events, enjoy a cup a coffee, and chat with me on the issues facing our community.”
Colin Schmitt is committed to public service. Colin is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and Assemblyman for the 99th NYS Assembly District which includes the Town of Stony Point in Rockland County and The Towns of Wawayanda, Goshen, Hamptonburgh, Chester, Blooming Grove, New Windsor, Cornwall, Highlands and Woodbury in Orange County. Colin lives in the Town of New Windsor with his wife Nikki and their beloved adopted Catahoula puppy Quincy!
