Cornwall Bark Park Meeting
The Cornwall Bark Park will have a general committee meeting on Thursday, November 1st at 6:30 at the Cromwell Manor on Angola Rd. The committee is establishing an on-going group of volunteers to help develop the dog park and improve it. Volunteers are needed for several different efforts and any help is very much appreciated. Below is a sample of some of the committee descriptions.
Communications
Responsibilities include writing press releases for events/fundraising, developing press relations with local media, thanking donors for contributions, communicating to committee members, social media.
Fundraising/Events
Develop activities around the dog park that create awareness and help raise funds for the on-going maintenance of the park. Work with local vendors to get donations for raffles, auctions, etc. Work with communications group to create mailings.
