Be Afraid. Be Really Afraid: Hauntings in the 18th Century
Two hundred years ago people were terrified of what lurked in the night. In their minds, ghosts stalked the gloomy forests and hovered about dark corners, preying on the unwary. This lecture will help you learn more about the role that ghosts, specters, and apparitions played in the lives of everyday people in the 18th and 19th centuries.
