Arts Grants Workshop
Arts in Orange presents a grant application workshop at the Cornwall Public Library, 395 Hudson Street, Cornwall, on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 2:30pm
Arts Community Grants (ACG), a program of Arts in Orange, is pleased to announce the availability of grants to support arts and cultural projects taking place in 2012 in Orange County. Arts Community Grants (ACG) is a local regrant program of Arts in Orange. ACG project grants are made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program (DEC) of the New York State Council on the Arts. All applicants are required to register and attend one free 90-minute grant application workshop, which will be offered 7 times throughout Orange County in July and August 2011. The person responsible for completing the grant application should attend. These workshops, which are free and open to the public, answer questions about the application process, review the requirements, and highlight ACG’s funding priorities for 2012. Review Sessions for individual assistance are available.
These 45-minute sessions are designed for first-time applicants, as well as those who have had their grant applications turned down in the past. The deadline for submitting a grant application is 4:30 pm Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
