Kitchen Garden Design Workshop
A kitchen garden goes beyond the simple straight rows of a vegetable garden to combine art and food in ways that enhance the experience of growing food. In this day-long workshop at the Glynwood Institute for Sustainable Food and Farming in Cold Spring, Ellen Ecker Ogden, co-founder of The Cook's Garden seed catalog and author of The Complete Kitchen Garden, will share her journey from basic back yard to elegant European-inspired kitchen garden designs. Both new and experienced gardeners will be inspired to rethink the vegetable garden and transform it into a productive and beautiful kitchen garden.
The $65 registration fee must be paid in advance to guarantee you a seat; it is not refundable. Walk-ins will be admitted as space permits. More info, including what you need to bring.
