Decorate for the Birds at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum!
Create Environmentally Safe Bird Feeders!
On Saturday, December 7 at 10 a.m., join environmental educator Megan Hoffman at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, Muser Drive across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall to learn about common winter birds that you might see at your bird feeder. Create a fun and simple bird feeder to decorate an outdoor tree that will feed the birds too! “There are many delicious treats that can be created to help give birds a nutritious boost in the winter,” says Megan. “Each type of bird has its own likes and dislikes.” Winter feeding in your backyard is wonderful fun for everyone and the birds truly benefit as winter approaches. For adults with or without children and children ages 5 and older. Admission: $7/Adults, $5/Children. Museum Members: $5/Adults, $3/Children.
