Music at Bear Mountain
Klezmer musicians Sruli & Lisa will perform live at the Bear Mountain Museums and Zoo Amphitheatre at 1 pm. The performance is part of the Trailside Summer Music Concert Series.
Multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Sruli and Lisa play the clarinet, violin, accordion, bass recorder, cello and drum, and perform and teach Klezmer and Hasidic music and dance all over the country. They have been called "Superb musicians!" by the Los Angeles Times. Their newest project, "The Singing Table," just returned from headlining at the Cracow Jewish Festival in Poland with famed Klezmer pioneer Michael Alpert, is a musical celebration of the Hasidic Tish.
