On Sunday, May 4, at 10 a.m., the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting: Lovely Ladybugs! Did you know there are many different kinds of ladybugs? Come join environmental educator Michelle Mindicino at the Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall, to learn all about lady bugs. “The official NY State insect is the 9-spotted ladybug,” says Michelle. “Come find out why and become part of the lost ladybug project!” Create a ladybug observatory to take home. After the program take a short hike with Michelle in search of ladybugs that live at the Outdoor Discovery Center. For adults with or without children and for children ages 5 and up.
