Roundtable Discussion
Roundtable Discussion
Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson / Town of Cornwall
7:00 PM, Thursday, October 28, 2010
Your participation is welcome at a roundtable discussion to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Cornwall-on-Hudson Village Hall, 325 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY as part of the Newburgh Area Transportation and Land Use Study.
As someone who has specific knowledge of the transportation and land use issues in the area and the needs of the community, we welcome your input at this stage in the Newburgh Area Transportation and Land Use Study process.
In addition to consideration of Cornwall area issues in relation to the overall study, we will be discussing potential improvements to key roadways and intersections in the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson and Town of Cornwall, especially the Hudson Street/Route 218 and Route 9W corridors. Attendees will also have an opportunity to discuss the pedestrian/bicycle planning, transit planning, and transportation modeling being undertaken through the study.
The discussion will be preceded by a presentation from the study team to help frame the issues, including draft concept plans for key intersections in the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson. From that foundation, we would like to engage in a discussion of how these and other potential improvements would address existing safety and traffic issues in order to better understand local concerns and desires.
Thank you in advance for your help and insights. We look forward to seeing you there!
