Event happens at the Wallkill River School, 232 Ward St. (same as 17K) in Montgomery is free and open to the public.

This fundraiser allows the Wallkill River School to offer free programs for the local community. Teens are served by free art classes in the summer months taught by professional artists living in their own community.

The Wallkill River School is a nonprofit artist’s cooperative that runs a gallery and a full art school in Montgomery, NY. Part of the organization’s mission is to preserve dwindling open spaces and promote small scale farms and our agricultural heritage.

The Women’s History Presentation will honor Orange County’s First Lady; Amy Bull Christ. Amy’s life and contribution to Orange County culture will be presented by Susan Tucker, executive director of Hill-Hold and Brick House Museum. Shawn Dell Joyce, WRS founder and directory, will donate a portrait of Amy for the planned Amy Bull Crist Educational Center.
