Blessing of pets at Mount Saint Mary College
Sunday, October 2, at 12 noon on the patio outside of Founders Chapel, Guzman Hall, 330 Powell Avenue, Newburgh
Fr. Kevin Mackin, OFM, president of Mount Saint Mary College, will bless pets in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Area neighbors, along with Mount Saint Mary College alumni, students, and families, are welcome to bring their furry, feathered or finned companions (leashes/carriers please).
The blessing, honoring Saint Francis of Assisi’s love for animals, is part of the college’s Alumni and Family Weekend.
