Museum Evening Speaker Series to focus on The Look of West Point: The 1903 Architectural Competition
The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in partnership with the Cornwall Presbyterian Church presents their Fall Evening Speakers Series: The Look of West Point: The 1903 Architectural Competition. This lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Cornwall Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, 222 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson. Join Dr. Jon Malinowski, Professor of Geography at the USMA at West Point, for an exciting visual exploration of the national competition that took place at the turn of the 20th Century that will focus on the entries that were rejected as well as designs by the winning firm that were never implemented.
This program is funded, in part, by the New York Council for the Humanities.
