Protecting Waterways in Orange Co.
Orange Environment Inc. will sponsor a panel discussion, "Protecting Our Waterways in Orange County," at 7 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Gallery at Painter's Restaurant, 266 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson.
The panel will focus on local and countywide watershed planning initiatives.
Members of the panel are John Gebhards of the Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance, Simon Gruber, coordinator of the Moodna Watershed Coalition, Orange County Planning Commissioner David Church speaking on Orange County's Water Master Plan, and Kevin Sumner, executive director of the Orange County Soil and Water Conservation District.
The public is invited. To have dinner prior to the meeting, arrive at least one hour before the meeting and advise the restaurant that you will be attending the meeting. For dinner reservations, call Painter's at 534-2109. For information about the program, contact Toby Schack at 928-9632.
