Lost Towns of the Hudson River Valley
In this slide show presentation, authors Barbara and Wes Gottlock will revive the spirits of these bygone communities and celebrate a lost way of life, telling the story of five towns on the banks of the Hudson River that met their demise as quickly as they were established. From the icehouses of Rockland Lake to the barracks of Camp Shanks, only traces of these once vibrant settlements can now be found.
