Enjoy an afternoon of pumpkin rolling, guess the weight of the pumpkin, pumpkin painting, leaf waxing, scare crow making, face painting and a hay ride through the historic grounds of the Hill-Hold Museum homestead. There will also be sand art and refreshments available for sale at the event, which runs from noon to 4 pm.
The event is sponsored by Orange County officials and Friends of Hill-Hold & Brick House Museums at the Hill-Hold Museum, which brings visitors to the era of candles, fireplace heat, homegrown food and homespun clothes. The Hill-Hold farm was home to the Bull-Jackson family for more then 200 years.
