The Cornwall String Ensemble Concert
The Cornwall String Ensemble, comprised of Newburgh Symphony members, will play a concert in the pavilion at the beautiful Storm King Arts Center on Saturday, August 21st at 3:00.
This concert is made possible by the Orange County Tourism and the County of Orange, the Grand Montgomery Chamber Music and Theatre Series, the Cornwall on Hudson Town and the Cornwall Yacht Club. plus a generous contribution from the Storm King Arts Center.
To attend this concert there are admission fees to the center, $12.00 adults, $10.00 seniors, children $8.00 and under 5 are free.
This is a fantastic opportunity to hear wonderful music while enjoying the incredible acres of huge sculptures, rolling meadows and breathtaking vistas. The Storm King Arts Center is an absolute treasure and must be experienced.
The Cornwall String Ensemble, formed 8 years ago, will play a wide variety of music, from Baroque right up to modern times. The ensemble hopes to encourage participation in the growing string programs in Orange County.
