Ride for Vets in Distress
Registration 2-3:45 p.m., $10 per bike, Moroney's Cycle Shop, Union Ave., New Windsor, kickstands up at 4 p.m. sharp. Ride heads to Bear Mountain Circle and back and ends up at the City of Newburgh's International Waterfront Festival just in time for the show. Music with Rick Derringer and special guest the Sundown Band. Every paid rider will receive a free ticket for a chance to win a guitar signed by Derringer at the concert later in the evening. All riders will receive a flier to use Sept. 7 at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery on Route 300 in Newburgh. Present the flier when you pay your check and Perkins will donate 10 percent of your total to VetAid National. All proceeds benefit our veterans. Sponsored by VetAid National and Moroney's Cycles.
