Joy Gilinsky Monte is offering a MANDALA worshop at Studio 208 at 208 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson on Saturday, November 5, from 10:30 to 5:30 pm.
This workshop will provide samples and define the role Mandalas have played as a tool for meditation, healing and manifesting, then working with this ancient art form in a modern way we'll create our own vision of self empowerment. Using mixed media, paint & collage, our purpose is to explore the process of joyfully creating an artform as a metaphor for the process of joyfully creating our lives...No art experience is necessary.

Joy Gilinsky Monte is a professional artist whose paintings and commercial work have been exhibited in galleries and venues locally, in NYC and internationally. Joy creates personal Mandalas on a commissioned basis using the shamanic practice of journeying to access images and information that are incorporated into the Mandalas.
