“Let’s Go Fly a Kite” - at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum
On Sunday, April 18 at 10 a.m., the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting: Go Fly a Kite! Come to the Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive , across from 174Angola Road, Cornwall , to learn about how wind power can be harnessed to make things go. Environmental Educator Carl Heitmuller will lead this exciting family oriented kite flying program. Participants will make their own simple paper kite and egg-carton glider (a donation of extra Styrofoam egg cartons would be appreciated for this craft.) Bring your own kite or test fly your hand made kite and glider creation. Cost: $5. Members: $3.
