Enjoy a wildflower walk on Saturday, April 6, 10 a.m. at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall.

On Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m., come to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall for a Wildflower Walk! Enjoy the beauty of the woods and fields with Environmental Educator Judy Onufer and search for spring ephemerals! “One of the earliest plants to emerge and bloom in the spring is the Skunk Cabbage,” said Judy. “Botanists have found that this plant actually generates its own heat and melts the snow around its spring shoots.” Comfortable sturdy sneakers or hiking boots are recommended. This program is recommended for adults with or without children, and children ages 5 and older. Admission: $7/Adult, $5/Children. Museum Members: $5/Adult, $3/Children. For information visit hhnaturemuseum.org or call 845-534-5506 ext. 204.
