Discovering Animals Together Parent/Child Summer Program
Beginning Tuesday, June 23, Wednesday, June 24 and Friday, June 26 , the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum begins DATA: Discovering Animals Together Activities , an 8-week adult/child program designed for 2-4 year olds along with a care provider at the Museum’s Wildlife Education Center , 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY .
Adults and toddlers will explore, learn and have fun together with this eight-week program led by a Museum Educator. DATA provides a structured introduction to live native animals through crafts, songs, movement, stories and hands-on exploration. Children must be two by the first day of class and must be accompanied by an adult. This is a special time for parents and toddlers. Kindly make other arrangements for siblings over 9 months.
DATA sessions will take place on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am until 10:30am for 2 and 3 year olds and 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. for ages 3 and 4. Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m . for ages 2 and 3 and 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. for ages 3 and 4. Friday mornings 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. for ages 2 through 4. Price per adult/child pair: $140. Museum members: $115. Non-refundable pre-paid registration is required. Space is limited. 10% discount for additional siblings.
