Safe Harbors Run & Walk
Join Safe Harbors of the Hudson on Sunday May 17th for their 3rd Annual Off-Broadway Run & Walk. Enjoy a fun Spring day of exercise, refreshments, prizes and the chance to raise money for a wonderful cause by completing the 5K Run and/or the Off-Broadway Mile. The 5K course begins by going north on Montgomery Street, which boasts stunning views of the Hudson River and the famous architecture of Newburgh's historic district. The course continues under the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge and then turns around to head south on Grand Street, ending directly in front of the historic Ritz Theater at 107 Broadway.
Registration begins at 8 AM
, the Off-Broadway Mile begins at 9:15 AM, with the 5K commencing at 9:45 AM. Free t-shirts will go to the first 200 registrants and pre- and post-race refreshments will be provided.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three males and females in each race, and the top three overall walkers. A cash prize will be awarded to the top male and female participating in the 5K Run. The school with the most registrations will receive a trophy!
Both the 5K and Off-Broadway Mile courses are USATF-certified.
