Snakes! at the Nature Museum
On Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m. and again at 11:30 a.m., the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum presents Snakes! This special program will confirm that snakes are indeed interesting and amazing animals that are helpful to the environment and very misunderstood. Join Environmental Educator Michele Diamanti at the Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, to meet some of the snakes that reside at the Museum. Get a close-up look at their unique adaptations and learn about snakes that live in the Hudson Valley and what to do if you see one! There will be hands-on replicas of snakes to touch and observe. Make a fun snake craft to take home. Recommended for adults with or without children and for children ages 5 and up. Admission: $5, Museum Members: $3.For information call (845) 534-5506, ext 204. Visit the museum’s website at www.hhnaturemuseum.org .
