Meet a Real Wolf at the HHNM
On Saturday, November 5 at two special times: 4:30 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m., the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting: Meet Atka – A Live Gray Wolf at the Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson.
This special benefit for the Museum will include an awe-inspiring up-close encounter with this important but misunderstood predator. Atka is the "Ambassador Wolf” of the Wolf Conservation Center of South Salem, NY. Guests will learn about the history of wolves in the United States, the importance of wolves in a healthy ecosystem and the efforts to save these magnificent creatures for future generations.
All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $22 adults, $16 children (12 and under) Members: $18 adults, $12 children (12 and under.) Pre-paid reservations are required.
