Opera Club at the Cornwall Library

1:00-3:45 PM – Opera Club at Cornwall Public Library – Adolphe Adam’s Gisele
The Dutch National Ballet interprets Adolphe Adam’s seminal 1841 ballet Giselle in this production from 2009. The principal dancers include Anna Tsygankova in the title role, Jozef Varga as Count Albrecht and Igone de Jongh as Myrtha. Marius Petipa did the choreography and the Holland Symfonia, under the baton of Boris Gruzin, provides orchestral accompaniment.
Operas are shown on the third Sunday of each month at Cornwall Public Library, with the exception of July and August. For more information, please call the library at 534-8282.
