Wonderful Woolly Bears - Caterpillars
On Saturday, October 8 at 10 a.m., join Environmental Educator Pam Golben at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive across from 174 Angola Road to learn all about Those Wonderful Woolly Bears!
Take a close look at these fun, fuzzy caterpillars. Explore fun facts including: What do they turn into? Where do they spend the winter? Can they predict the weather? Participants will help release caterpillars back into the fields of the Outdoor Discovery Center and then create a Woolly Bear craft to take home. This program is recommended for adults with or without children and children ages 5 and older. Admission is $5 per person. Museum Members: $3. For information call 845-534-5506, ext. 204.
