Jazz Benefit Concert Featuring Tierney Sutton
The Orange County AHRC will be sponsoring a jazz benefit concert featuring the Grammy award winning Tierney Sutton. The concert will be held at Mount St. Joseph’s Convent in New Windsor. St. Joseph is located on route 207 just across from the Stewart Airport entrance. The show starts at 7:00pm
This year the Tierney Sutton Band received its second consecutive Grammy Nomination for Best Vocal Jazz Album. The band has been strongly influenced by all of the following: Pat Metheny, John McLaughlin, John Coltrane, Steely Dan, Bobby McFerrin, Jack Sheldon, Stevie Wonder, Bill Evans, The Temptations, James Brown and Earth Wind And Fire
