The Irish Tenors

West Point’s Eisenhower Hall Theatre will celebrate the feast of St. Patrick with the world-renowned Irish Tenors, Sunday, March 8th at 3 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $38 and $40 at IKEHALL.COM, the Box Office or call Telecharge at 800-233-3123.

The Irish Tenors; Finbar Wright  Anthony Kearns and Karl Scully, stand as one of  most remarkable success stories in Irish musical history. From the very first moment that the powerful tenor voices resounded throughout the United States in their Premier 1999 PBS, broadcast, the ears of the world have been listening, the eyes of the world have been watching, and the hearts of the world have fallen in love with the songs of these exceptional exponents of the great Irish musical tradition. Following the phenomenal debut concert in Dublin, these three have performed relentlessly on television, radio, through recordings, and, most importantly, on every legendary stage in the world, from Madison Square Garden to the Hollywood Bowl, from Carnegie Hall, to Sydney Opera House, and from Radio City Music Hall to repeated sell‐outs at the 7000 seat Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland.

The Irish Tenors have made countless traditional treasures breathe with new life.  Moreover, they've proven themselves gifted interpreters of a wide range of material, with such songs as "My Heart Will Go On", “Fairytale Of New York" and even "South Of The Border!"  Why? Because the "South Of The Border” lyrics are by Ireland's own Jimmy Kennedy, who also wrote the words to "Teddy Bears' Picnic."  These songs live comfortably in their repertoire alongside "Danny Boy", "My Wild Irish Rose" and "Fields Of Athenry".
