Philadelphia Flower Show
The Cornwall Recreation Department is offering a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show, “Brilliant"
Date: Monday, March 4th
Time: 7:30am departure/arrive back 8:00pm
Fee: $68 for transportation and admission into the flower show
Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center
Description: A celebration of the contemporary culture, design, gardens and landscapes of Great Britain. Major exhibits will explore Britain’s heritage and culture, from Royal events to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, London’s foggy climate to sunny cottage gardens, and Sgt. Pepper’s band to Whitechapel’s Jack the Ripper. Also walk across the street to the historic
farmers market, Reading Terminal Market. An exhilarating selection of baked goods, meats, poultry, seafood, produce, flowers, ethnic foods, cookware and eclectic restaurants are peppered throughout the Market.
Special Note: Minimum of 30 participants – pre-register no later than February 25
