Could you hack life among the Lenape? Find out first hand on Saturday, August 15, from 11 AM to 4 PM as you try your hand at Flint Knapping, Firemaking, Atlatl Throwing and more. Program led by New York Native American and traditional living expert Barry Keegan. Program geared towards families.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
11 AM - 1 PM Flintknapping Workshop
1 PM - 2:30 PM Fire by Friction + Artifact Show n' Tell
2:30 - 4:00 PM Atlatl/ Spear Throw
The Fort is located at 690 Route 9W,1/4 mile north of the Bear Mountain Traffic Circle in Fort Montgomery, NY 10922.
