Making Jack Falcone
What’s it like to be on the inside of a Mafia family? You can get an up-close view from former FBI special agent Joaquin “Jack” Garcia when he talks about how he infiltrated the Gambino crime family at SUNY Orange’s Kaplan Hall on Thursday, March 30 at 2 pm.
Garcia went undercover to penetrate the Gambino syndicate, first going to a “mob school” to learn how to talk and act like a gangster so that he could gain acceptance into the inner circle. Garcia told the story of his 26 years in the FBI in a book, Making Jack Falcone, and will share it again in his presentation that is sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Department, the Department of Criminal of Justice and the Newburgh Criminal Justice Club.
