Exhibit: Western Visions

The Hudson Valley Gallery at 246 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson presents a special exhibition, "Western Visions."
Photographer Tom Doyle's recent work from a five-week wilderness adventure through many of our western National Parks will be featured. Camping alone in the wilderness to capture the best impressions of nature, Tom travelled almost 8,000 miles throughout the Dakotas, Wyoming and Montana.
His journey included Badlands National Park, Custer's State Park, Mount Rushmore, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.
This exhibition will also include paintings of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone by Paul Gould and guest artists who participated in his Wyoming Painting Workshop.
The Hudson Valley Gallery has also scheduled two slideshows with commentary by Tom Doyle during this exhibition. His western journey will be featured on Sunday, October 26 at 2 p.m. Hudson Valley Views will be the subject of the second slideshow on Sunday, November 16 at 2pm.
The Hudson Valley Gallery is located at 246 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson. The Gallery is open Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm and by appointment. The exhibition will continue until November 23. For more information and directions please call 845-534-5ART or visit

Tom Doyle is agenius. He is so meticulous about his subjects-his prepartion for the one picture, light, colors, of which- the results are fastastic. He is hyper critical of all he attemps to capture on film.
