Spirit and Nature in Ramapo Mountains
Professor of Environmental History, Chuck Stead, will offer stories of both Native and European contact, as well as a consideration of how those stories adapt over the years, focusing on the residents of the Ramapo Mountains. Professor Stead has worked with the Ramapough Nation on remediation issues, and teaches environmental studies, history, and sustainability at Ramapo College. The lecture begins at 7 p.m.
This presentation at the Fort Montgomery Historic Site is part of a free lecture series underwritten by the Fort Montgomery Battle Site Association.
