| Meet a box turtle at the museum. |
At 10 a.m. the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum presents: Terrific Turtles! at the Outdoor Discovery Center, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall.
Participants will be introduced to four turtle species native to New York. Come learn about their special adaptations, where they live and where they go in the winter. Take a walk in search of turtles and then finish the morning with a great turtle craft to take home.
This program is recommended for adults and children ages 5 and up. Pre-registraion is requested. Cost:$5. Members:$3.
