Save Our Schools Fundraisers
The group Save Our Schools is holding a fundraiser to help raise money to pay for an Article 78 lawsuit to challenge the village of Woodbury's decision to let the Legacy Ridge housing development expand the number of homes it would build. Critics say that the new homes would put an unfair burden on the Cornwall school system.
The fundraiser will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of Betsy and Tod Delaney, 17 Willowbrook Lane, off Taylor Road in the Mountainville section of Cornwall. SOS is asking for donations of $25 per person. For more information or directions call 534-7814.
