START THE HOLIDAYS WITH A BANG
Saturday December 5, 2009
The Palisades Interstate Park Commission and the Palisades Parks Conservancy in conjunction with Guest Services, Inc.,will sponsor this year's Holiday Festival at Bear Mountain State Park on Saturday, December 5 starting at 2 p.m. Come early and enjoy several family activities including horse-drawn haywagon rides, crafts, music and children's games, a skating show, and a warm bonfire on the great lawn. Stay and skate on Bear Mountain's famous outdoor ice rink.
Admission is free; Parking is $7.00 per car. Festivities start at 2 PM.

Highland Falls will also be hosting their annual holiday festival on Saturday, December 5. A shuttle will travel between the two venues beginning at Sacred Heart Church at 1:30 PM with the last trip from Bear Mountain State Park at 5:00 PM
