Poetry Reading
Poet Laurence Carr kicks off this three-week series of poetry readings at 4 p.m. at the Villa Library at Mount St. Mary's College in Newburgh.
Carr writes poetry, prose and drama and is editor of Riverine: An Anthology of Hudson Valley Writers.
The Highland resident is an English instructor at SUNY New Paltz, where he created the Playwright’s Project. The Playwright’s Project develops plays and theater pieces created by SUNY students, alumni and faculty and community writers, which are produced regionally and Off-Off Broadway in New York City.
The Division of Arts and Letters is sponsoring this poetry series.
