The Hudson River water quality has improved greatly in recent years however sewage is still being dumped in the river with surprising frequency. Since 2006 Riverkeeper has been testing for sewage contamination along the 155-mile estuary. Come and hear Tracy Brown, from Riverkeeper’s Water Quality Program, discuss sewage contamination in the Hudson and actions communities can take to clean up their local water quality and improve their shorelines. Question and answer session to follow presentation.
