Lecture on Gen. Albert Myer
On Sunday, September 18 at 3pm the Newburgh Historical Society presents a lecture by Robert Gilbert, a General Albert Myer scholar, who will tell the fascinating story of this Newburgh son who founded the Signal Corps and the National Weather Service.
During his trip to the Hudson Valley, Mr. Gilbert will also be hosted by the United States Military Academy History Department. Members free; non-members $5. The Captain David Crawford House, 189 Montgomery St., Newburgh, NY.
