Arrests
08/13/2020 Jasmine C Arroyo, age 33 of Washingtonville, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree, unlicensed driver, speeding, no/exp insurance and unregistered vehicle.
08/14/2020 An 18 yr old man from New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with reckless driving.
08/27/2020 Nicholas M Coppola, age 21, of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree and criminal trespass.
Incidents
07/27/20 A subject reported larceny from his vehicle of a wallet.
07/27/20 Police remove a fallen wire from Shore Rd.
07/28/20 Police take a report of an unknown vehicle that struck a mailbox on Rt 94 causing damage.
07/29/20 A caller reported larceny of several items from her property.
07/30/20 Police and Fire Dept respond to a residence for a CO alarm going off due to a running generator.
07/31/20 Police receive a call from Cumberland Farms reporting that a customer refused to wear a mask and gave Police vehicle plate number. This is to prevent the store from being fined by the state as they are trying to enforce the mask rule.
07/31/20 Police issue 5 summonses during a Stop DWI assignment.
08/02/20 Police assist Village PD with a 1 car rollover on Mountain Rd.
08/03/20 The library reported vandalism and criminal mischief. A bench was broken, paver base was damaged, graffiti was written on several items and a sign and post broken.
08/04/20 A caller reported a tree down blocking the roadway on Mill St. DPW on scene.
08/04/20 A tree brought down wires that fell on top of a car.
08/04/20 Highway called about a tree down on quaker Ave and contacting County.
08/04/20 Police assist with moving trees and unit struck by falling tree.
08/04/20 Tree fell on Frost Ln causing damage to a residence.
08/04/20 Trees and wires down on a barn on Lockwood Lane.
08/04/20 Trees fell causing wires to be ripped off of a residence on Willow Ave.
08/04/20 Poice respond and notify Central Hudson that wires are down on Rt 94.
08/04/20 Police respond to assist a residence leave a garage during power outage.
08/04/20 Police and Fire Dept respond for a tree down on Mill St.
08/05/20 Police take a call reporting a tree down on Mailler Ave.
08/07/20 Police and Fire Dept respond to a kitchen fire. A stove was left on before power outage, came back on and a pot with food ignited.
08/08/20 A subject reported larceny from a vehicle.
08/12/20 Police issue several tickets during a traffic assignment.
08/12/20 A subject reported that falling debris from the 9W overpass struck her car and broke her windshield.
08/15/20 Police and Quality Towing respond to Idlewild to assist with a vehicle that rolled backwards into the creek.
