Arrests

12/10/19 A 15 yr old male was arrested and charged with attempted robbery in the 2nd degree, criminal use of a firearm in the 2nd degree, menacing in the 2nd degree, assault in the 2nd degree and attempted grand larceny in the 4th degree.

Incidents
Police issue approximately 7 warnings and 17 summonses to drivers.
11/29/19 Police assist driver with an over heater vehicle.
11/29/19 A subject reported criminal mischief to Police. A NYS DOT sign was vandalized with “SIK” painted on it with black spray paint.
11/29/19 Police escort football team through town.
12/02/19 Police respond to several reports of vehicles parked on the road during the snow ordinance.
12/03/19 Police remove several tree branches on various roads.
12/03/19 Police respond to a report a parked vehicle being hit overnight on River Ave. The second vehicle left the scene.
12/04/19 Police assist a driver with a vehicle stuck in a snow bank.
12/05/19 Police assist to remove a large pumpkin on Dock Hill Rd. A driver requested Police remove the pumpkin because she was afraid another pumpkin would come rolling down the hill and hit her.
12/05/19 Police respond to Shore Rd for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown subject painted “rabit” on the no parking sign.
12/06/19 Police assist with a disabled vehicle on Rt 9W South.
12/06/19 Police assist New Windsor Police to check for subjects that fled from a motor vehicle accident on 9W.
12/10/19 Police assist two subjects with vehicle lockouts off of Hudson St.
12/10/19 A subject turned in what she thought was a fake $20 bill. Walden Bank tested the bill and stated that it was real, turned it back to Police and Police contacted the owner.
12/10/19 Police respond to DB Mart for a robbery
