Richard L. Nielson of New Windsor, NY, entered into rest on Monday, April 29, 2019. He was 29.
The son of Richard C. and the late Victoria Nielson, he was born on June 6, 1989 in Nyack, NY.
Richard was a 2007 graduate of Cornwall Central High School. He received his Associate’s Degree from Orange Co. Community College. He loved music, his guitar, and he had a great sense of humor. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend and he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include: his father, Richard C. Nielson; sisters Cheryl and Sarah Nielson; brother Philip Nielson; grandmother Margaret Nielson; stepmother Felicia Nielson; plus many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Victoria Nielson.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, May 4 at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
