Homestead Harvest Dinner
The Town Historian has partnered with the Cornwall Historical Society and Cornwall’s local chefs for a “Homestead Harvest Dinner” scheduled for September 27, 2015 at 4pm under the tent on the Sands-Ring Homestead grounds.
This event combines the rich tastes of Cornwall’s finest cuisine with local chefs serving recipes primarily from the “Old Homestead Cook-book” originally published in 1913 by the Village Improvement Society, later the Cornwall Garden Club. Also featured will be “Aaron Burr Cider” of Wurtsboro, NY. Tickets are $75 per person which includes a full course dinner and dessert. ONLY 130 tickets for dinner are available. A raffle for the original Terri Clearwater print of the homestead will take place at the dinner. Tickets for the raffle are $25. Winner of raffle does not need to be present.
