Open House and Welcome
Public Invited to Welcome International Women to Cornwall
The Cornwall Grail Center invites the public to an Open House for 19 women from nine countries who are taking part in a three-week program on Sacred Activism at The Grail.
The Open House will be held in the social hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 66 Clinton Street in Cornwall on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 6 pm.
A potluck supper will be followed by a culture-sharing exchange with the participants from Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, South Africa and the U.S.
The three-week Sacred Activism program is designed to prepare young women to participate in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and to be advocates for social issues in their own communities.
The public is invited to bring a dish to share and a welcoming spirit to greet this international community of women.
