As a former Town of Corwnall Police Officer and the School Resource Officer at Cornwall High School, DARE Instructor at Cornwall Middle School and District Safety Instructor eg: Carlie's Crusade for Child Abduction Prevention Skills Training, I have a deep love for Cornwall and Cornwall on Hudson. I currently instruct at New York Military Academy but remember my first introduction to the area back in 1975 when I assisted my instructor at Storm King School and then in 1977 became the Karate Coach at SKS. In 1981, I gave the position to Sgt. Tom Douglas (COH PD Retired) and he did a fantastic job for years....then little Tom Douglas came to my karate class and is also a cop in the City of Newburgh now. I love community programs, especially with the youth and still guest instruct at St. Thomas of Canterbury with Bully SMARTS and Personal Empowerment Programs.
