General News: Geese Committee Meeting

The 7 member Cornwall “Geese Population Management Committee” which was appointed by the Town Board, will hold its second meeting at the Munger Cottage adjacent to Rings Pond (Geese ground zero) on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7 p.m. The Committee will continue exploring methods of geese control for use in Cornwall.
The guest speaker will be Brian Shapiro, the New York State Director of The Humane Society of the Unites States.
Cornwall and Cornwall-on-Hudson residents are welcome to come and listen to the discussion.

Is this the same committee (if I remember things correctly) that decided to go ahead and kill the geese, and then ask the town if it was OK to go ahead and kill the geese?
Or am I thinking of a different committee?
