At approximately 10:20 pm Saturday, July 13th, a motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Quaker Ave. and Route 32 in Cornwall. A truck collided with an SUV and the SUV ended up on an embankment. Drivers and passengers were able to exit their vehicles. Cornwall Police, COVAC and Highland Engine Co. arrived on the scene within a few minutes. One person was taken to Cornwall Hospital for injuries. Traffic was under control by Police and the scene cleaned up within the hour.
