General News: CCAC Plans Arbor Day Planting

In keeping with the Town of Cornwall's status as a "Tree City, U.S.A.", and in recognition of "Arbor Day" and "Earth Day", Cornwall Conservation Advisory Committee, which is a Town appointed volunteer body, tentatively scheduled a tree planting at Sands Ring Homestead Park at 5pm Friday evening, April 26th, weather permitting, and Town residents are encouraged to attend.
The tree, which has been donated by an anonymous donor, will be planted in the area right off Main Street next to the remnant stump of a former tree.
Per the Town Supervisor's Office, the Garden Club also tentatively scheduled a "tree planting" at Sands Ring Park on Friday the 26th at 4pm.
