General News: New Feature: Public Notices

In a new section of the Cornwall-on-Hudson.com website, Public Notices, you will find documents that are intended for public consideration. The law designed the public notice system to make public involvement in the issues raised by the documents easier.
The first public notice is from the Cornwall Commons, laying out which issues it intends to address in its Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the development of a planned adult community in the area west of Route 9W in Cornwall.
Here’s an opportunity for local residents to think about how the development may impact their lives and to get involved in the process itself. Read the full notice here.
The public will be able to submit written comments on the proposed outline of this statement until December 22. Click here for more on how to submit comments.
