General News: Cornwall Bark Park Opens

The Cornwall N.Y. Dog Park held it's grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday August 5, 2012 .
Many dogs and their owners visited the park despite the heat and threat of thunderstorms, which held out until one hour after the opening. Town councilman Randy Clark presented the official name "Cornwall Bark Park" and dedication of the two acre park. Over 125 dogs came out to play and run on opening day. Eight individuals who submitted the name "Cornwall Bark Park" were invited to the opening ceremony and received a gift card to Prima Pizza.
The committee is still soliciting donations to pay for the fence and the ongoing maintenance of the park. Please consider a donation via PayPal on the website Cornwallnydogpark.com or on facebook donation page.
